We decided since it was so close to her birthday and since it is always fun to have a big party with lots of family invited to have Olivia's party while we were in Kansas. We had such a great turn-out. A lot of the family was able to make it, even after we switched it at the last minute from the Burlingame park (which was apparently flooded from the 2-ish inches of rain we'd gotten the night before) to Mom and Dad's house. For throwing it all together at a different location at the last minute I think it turned out rather well. Either way, the important part is that Olivia had a blast and made out like a little bandit. We are working on thank you cards right now and I'm amazed how well she remembers who gave her what!
