Feeling nostalgic

We are staring each month at the advancement list for MK1, counting how many were advanced and how many are ahead of Andy. It got me thinking about when we were waiting for him to make Mk2--he was on that list for over a year and month after month we checked the list until finally he'd made it! Tory and Livy and I woke up at the crack of dawn to join Andy on the fantail of the Mackinaw to pin him. If I decide to ignore the part where I couldn't see a slippery cover thing because of my huge preggy belly and fell on my butt in front of the entire crew of the Mackinaw and some Coast Guard Auxiliarymen, it is a great memory. So, yesterday I decided to scrap those pictures. It helps that a site I'm a member of does monthly challenges. Last month I decided to start in on the Military challenges and did a page about Andy's letters from bootcamp and our first time seeing each other after 8 weeks. I need to dig up some more pictures now because I'm really enjoying this trip down memory lane and reliving the pride I have for my hubby and what he does for his family and his country each and every day.
