The girls were up and at 'em bright and early the morning of October 31, begging for candy and asking repeatedly when it would be time for trick or treating. It honestly made for a very long day. By lunch time, I was at my wits end so I bundled them up in their coats and took them across the street for a walk/leaf playing session. We managed to kill about an hour over there before the cold got to them and we needed to come home. We warmed up with hot chocolate after we got back and I had the girls decorate their pumpkins with markers. Now, usually our pumpkins are carved and are very elaborate thanks to Andy's super carving skills, but this year the house has taken top priority and we just never got around to it. The girls were perfectly happy to color them, though. After pumpkins I made some pumpkin bread. Then, we started getting dressed and doing hair and make-up for trick or treating. We went around with Livy's best friend and her mom. Though it was frigid, the kids had a great time and made out like little bandits. Too much candy for any kid!

The girls are growing so fast. I hope we get a visit in sometime soon. Joshua says he likes their costumes and he was a firefighter. He wants you all to come play with him and asked for Chloe number so he could call and talk to her lol. He said he will give you directions here because you forgot where we live. :)
