School has officially restarted for the Havens family. What makes this extremely apparent is the fact Tory and Olivia are sick. Already. 2 weeks in to school for Tory and she's now missed 3 days, going on 4. Olivia has been in school one week and will probably end up missing 2 days before she's ok to head back. Ick. This does not bode well for the rest of the school year!
The most disappointing issue with being sick is we will now have to postpone Tory's birthday party until Sept. 27th instead of having it this Saturday the 19th. Luckily for me I was able to get the word out to parents through Tory's teacher, who was kind enough to send a note home with the class to tell them. I really wasn't sure how many children were coming anyway, but that's a different rant (when did RSVP start meaning "don't worry about calling, I'll try to figure out how many kids to plan for using my super skills in ESP"?)
