7 short years ago, we welcomed our first beautiful baby girl in to the world! It hardly seems so much time could have possibly passed by already. But it is true. Seven years old. SEVEN! I still can't believe it! Seeing as how the Coast Guard required Daddy today, we did our family celebration last night, including a family dinner at Pizza Hut, birthday cake, and an iCarly lip gloss/nail polish set from her sisters. This morning we got up and got around and headed out to Target to spend her birthday money. She got 2 outfits, a sweater, and a shirt for school. She also picked out iCarly sheets and a Littlest Pet Shop bird. Then we headed over to Walmart where she picked out an iCarly blanket (are you noticing a trend? lol), a side table, a lava lamp, and a desk lamp for her new room and I bought her a new coat. It was a lot of fun. After Walmart we headed over to DQ for some ice cream cones and then came home to snuggle on the couch, watching...you guessed it...iCarly! She has an awful cold (proof that school is back in session, I guess) and doesn't really feel like doing much else. Poor thing. Good thing her big school friends party is not until next weekend. Anyone want to go out on a limb and guess the theme? (Sorry the video is sideways. I fixed it on the computer but it keeps uploading sideways still on here. Also sorry about the fact that you hear me best singing and somehow everyone got ahead of me! lol)

Sounds like a great day. I guess we know what her favorite show is LOL! You did awesome on the cake, Amanda! I hope she is feeling better soon and love that you posted the video of the singing LOL! No rehearsal huh? haha
