The fact of the matter is, I don't feel like it. I know that sounds terrible but I've been fighting a nasty sinus infection and taking the time to load all the pictures on to the computer, edit them, and post them on blogger seems a little daunting right now. So let's just pretend that when I said "this week" I really meant "next week" and they'll be up by Saturday.
On the moving front, for those interested, we've got some bad news. We still don't know where we are going. However, we do know where we are not going. The USCGC Muskingum out of Sallisaw, OK is off the list, meaning we aren't moving there. Meaning my dream of being less than 10 hours from home is gone. First the Sangamon out of Peoria, IL (7 hrs) was taken. Then the Cheyenne out of St. Louis (5.5 hrs) was taken. Now the Muskingum (5.5 hrs) is gone. I'm not going to lie, I'm completely heartbroken. I really, truly thought that when Andy wasn't given his extension here in Maine on the Marcus Hanna and we looked at the list and saw how many midwestern boats were on the list, that God was telling us "Ok, Havens'. Time to head home." But I guess I read God's mind wrong.
Hopefully we'll have news this week. But I'm not counting on it.
