Yesterday afternoon I had to go to physical therapy for my knee. Livy's best friend Hailey's mom was kind enough to watch all 3 girls for me. When I returned, the girls were playing with zhu zhu pets click here to see one when it all went very wrong. Hailey was pretending her zhu zhu was climbing up Tory's back. Tory was wearing her very long hair down....I think we can all guess what happened next. The worst part about it was the zhu zhu just kept trying to move, its wheels spinning, tangling up and pulling in more and more of Tory's hair. While Liz, Hailey's mom, went in search of scissors, I tried to keep the zhu zhu from pulling in any more hair and tried to figure out how to turn the darn thing off. Finally, a few little snips, and Tory was free. Both Tory and Hailey were crying hysterically while Chloe just looked confused and Livy was trying to console her friend. The way Tory's hair curls at the end, you could barely tell any damage had been done. But she decided she wanted to cut off her hair to even out what had been cut and to make sure no zhu zhu pet driving up her back would ever suck in her hair again. I made her think about it all day long and by late evening, her heart was still set on it. So we cut off just over 8 inches of hair. I think she looks super cute with her little bob and I'm sure she'll be much cooler this summer with less hair. Before and Afters:

Geez. I didn't realize those zhu zhu pets are so dangerous lol. But the new haircut looks so cute on Tory and I cannot get over how much older she has gotten.
