Easter was a fairly quiet affair in the Havens' household again this year. We had made plans with friends to get together on Easter but as with the best laid plans of mice and men, were changed at the last minute. Livy spent the entire week leading up to Easter sick which made it difficult for me to do anything, including to prepare for Easter. I had to cancel on our friends because Olivia was still sick. She spent the majority of Easter laying around, watching her movie the Easter Bunny had stuck in her basket. She did get up and around for the egg hunt Andy and I had put together for them out in the yard.
It was a gorgeous day--in the mid-70's, sunny, a slight breeze. Just gorgeous! Amazingly, it was the very first Easter of the girls' lives where there was no snow, no need of sweaters or jackets, and sandals could be worn along with spring dresses. We enjoyed it very much!
