Doing a little remodeling!

Finally! The kitchen cabinets and the living room are both works in progress but I thought I would share what is done so far. A little effort (ok, a lot of effort!) has gone a long way to transform the rooms.

HUGE CHANGE! We painted over the super fugly wood paneling in the LR.

Going on payday to our good friend Lowe's to buy some crown molding. Its going to be a darker brown than the walls, as is the trim along the floor.

Andy is also going to put trim up around the windows and then I'll get some new curtains.

We refinished the cabinet doors (top so far. still working on the rest) and replaced the fugly fake gold hardware with hardware more "antiquey" feeling and in polished nickel. Much better with the style of the house. :)
