One tough cookie!

Today was Olivia's 5 year well-child visit. Everything went great. She weighs 42 lbs and is 43 inches tall. Her vocabulary is excellent. She knows all of her letters and recognizes numbers up to at least 20 (that's as high as the flash cards went). She can already read short words and is an excellent drawer. She can jump and skip and tell her right from her left. Her vision is perfect. Dr. Pianka asked her to count as high as she could until she reached about 65 and then told her that was high enough when Livy told her she can count to 200 (which she can). Most amazing of all is the simple fact that Miss Livy is tough as nails. She was given 4 shots today and didn't cry. She didn't whimper. She barely even seemed to notice it. Then when the nurse was finished she looked up at me and said "That kind of hurt. Can we get a donut on the way home?" Yep, that's our livy!
