Chloe's dental work recap

It all went so great! Really, I am 110% relieved. Because we'd gone to the open house thing on Tues all the rooms and drs and nurses were fresh in her mind. She was totally ok with everything! It went faster than they had expected it to, which is good, and she was in recovery less time than they had expected, which is also good. The only bad thing about it at all was her coming out of the anesthesia. She was pissed off. She tried to rip out her IV. She tried to rip off her hospital bracelet. She kicked a nurse in the face and kicked my coffee cup off of a little table. And then she opened her eyes and they were darting all over the room, she was awake but obviously confused and mad. It was like she didn't even realize I was the one holding her. She screamed and kicked and pinched (I have bruises on my arm and neck) and clawed and slapped. I was pretty severely abused by my 2 year old! ;) I knew "anger" was a side effect from the anesthesia in kids but holy crap! I didn't expect it that much. I pictured a tantrum. Not fighting people off for your life. :-X But after about 20 minutes she calmed down. And 15 or 20 minutes after that she ate her popcicle and they said we could go! So we are home and she's clingy but her teeth look perfect. Apparently we ended up with 4 fillings a composite covered tooth up top and the repair to her chip. And sealants. X-rays showed her "missing baby tooth" is actually a "hybrid tooth", meaning it doesn't look like the side teeth but it doesn't look like the canine teeth either (that's what its supposed to be) but all of her adult teeth are there so that's one less worry. When she's happier I'll take a pic of her gorgeous (and expensive! ??? ) teeth.
